History

This school was established in 1975 as a community school. The first principal of this school was Mr Mabokela R with the staff of less than 10 educators. The school had only two blocks with less than 200 learners. As the school developed, by the time Mr Mabokela retired in 1983 the school had three blocks. Mrs Phaahla KJ from the teaching staff, was elevated and acted on the Principal’ship Post for one year in 1984.

In 1985 Mr Mahlatji was appointed as the new Principal of the school and he then retired in 2005 through ill health. Under his leadership he had the deputy Principal and the two HODs and the two other blocks were erected during his era. Mr Phogole served as the Principal from 2006 with the Deputy Principal and two HODs who retired in 2008 and 2013 respectively. He also retired in 2015 January and left Mr Makaleng T.K (Deputy Principal) to act from February 2015. Mr Makaleng acts as the Principal without the two HODs because the two posts were not filled ever since their departure.

Our enrolment is at 462 with the post establishment of 14 educators but physical warm bodies are eleven in number due to retirements.
